Argentinean grievous metallic element band Almafuerte was formed in the mid-'90s by ex-V8 and Hermética Ricardo Iorio, united by guitarist Claudio Maciello and drummer Claudio Cardaci. In 1995, the band's debut album, called Mundo Guanaco, was released. The undermentioned year, afterward issuance Del Entorno, produced by Flavio Cianciarullo (from los Fabulosos Cadillacs), Claudio Cardaci left wing the group, being replaced by Rodolfo Márquez and later by Walter MartÃnez. In 1999, Almafuerte contributed with the main title to El Visitante's film soundtrack.
